Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kovyxa platform ("Service"), operated by Kovyxa Technologies Pvt. Ltd.("Kovyxa", "we", "us").

By registering, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be a human individual — accounts for bots, scrapers, or automated agents are prohibited.
• You must not have been previously banned from Kovyxa.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at kovyxa55@gmail.com.

You may not share your account with any other person or transfer your account to anyone else. Each person must create their own account.

Kovyxa is a professional matchmaking platform designed to help individuals form meaningful, values-aligned relationships. The platform uses AI-based compatibility scoring and prioritises privacy and safety.

You agree to use Kovyxa only for its intended purpose. You may not use the platform:

• For any commercial purpose (e.g. recruiting, advertising, soliciting)
• To impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• To harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• To send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content
• To collect or harvest other users' data
• To attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts
• To upload or share illegal, harmful, obscene, or misleading content
• In any way that violates applicable law

You retain ownership of the content you provide ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Kovyxa a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, and use that content solely for the purposes of operating the Service (e.g. showing your profile to matched users, generating AI compatibility scores).

You represent and warrant that your User Content:

• Is accurate and does not misrepresent your identity
• Does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Does not contain personal information of others without their consent
• Does not violate any applicable law

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

The identity reveal feature allows you to selectively share your name, LinkedIn, and GitHub with a specific matched user. You acknowledge that:

• Once you reveal your identity to another user, that user may retain that information even if you subsequently "unreveal" within the app.
• Kovyxa is not responsible for how the other user uses information you voluntarily shared with them.
• You should only reveal your identity when you feel comfortable doing so.

Kovyxa's AI compatibility scores are indicative suggestions, not guarantees of romantic or professional compatibility. These scores are generated algorithmically based on the profile data you provide. Kovyxa makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of these scores for any particular purpose.

Decisions about pursuing a connection remain entirely your own. The AI score is a tool to assist your judgment, not replace it.

You agree to promptly report any user who violates these Terms, behaves in a threatening or harmful manner, or who you reasonably believe is misrepresenting their identity. Reports can be made via the Safety Center in the app or by emailing kovyxa55@gmail.com.

Kovyxa takes all safety reports seriously and will take appropriate action, which may include warning, suspending, or permanently banning the reported user.

Kovyxa may offer premium features accessible via a subscription or in-app credits. All purchases are subject to the following:

• Credits are non-refundable once used.
• Unused credits expire 12 months after purchase.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

For billing disputes, contact kovyxa55@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your profile is permanently removed within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or if required by law. We will attempt to notify you unless legally prevented from doing so.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Kovyxa does not guarantee that you will find a match, that compatibility scores will lead to successful relationships, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kovyxa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
