Is Kovyxa free to use?
Yes — creating a profile and discovering matches is free. Optional premium actions use credits with clear in-app costs. No surprise paywall after you sign up.
Do I need to upload a photo to get started?
No. Discovery on Kovyxa is anonymous: people see an avatar, your age and city, your prompt answers and what you have in common — not your photo or name. You choose if and when to reveal your identity.
Where do conversations happen?
Chat stays inside Kovyxa. We don't push you onto Instagram after a match. When trust is built, you control what to reveal — your name, LinkedIn or GitHub — and you can unreveal anytime.
How does AI compatibility work?
For free, you see what the two of you have in common. If you want more, a detailed AI report (paid with credits) reads both profiles and scores 8 areas such as values, lifestyle and life goals, with conversation starters. If you both share birth details, you can also check Kundli milan.
What happens when I 'Reveal' my identity?
When you reveal, the other user gains access to your name and the social links you chose to share (LinkedIn / GitHub). You can choose to reveal only your name, only your portfolio, or both. You can unreveal at any time.
Who is Kovyxa for?
Single adults in India who want something real: you match on personality before looks, only verified people can like you, and you stay private until you're ready.
Is my data safe?
Your connection to Kovyxa is encrypted (TLS). Chats are stored on our servers so they can be delivered; they are not end-to-end encrypted, and are only read by our team if a conversation is reported. Calls are encrypted between the two phones and never recorded. You sign in with Google, so we never see a password. Verification selfies are never shown to other users. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my account?
Yes — free, anytime from Settings. We deactivate you right away so you disappear from Discover. If you change your mind, sign in within 30 days and you're back. After 30 days we permanently delete your data.
Need help after a payment or signup?
Email pawan@kovyxa.com or message us on WhatsApp. Real humans reply — we don't leave you hanging after you pay.
Can I call my match without sharing my number?
Yes. Once you've matched, you can voice or video call right inside Kovyxa. Your phone number is never shared, and calls are never recorded. Video starts blurred until you tap, and you can report or end a call anytime.
What is Date Check-in?
Before a date, add the place, time and a trusted contact's email. When it's time, we ask if you're okay by email and in the app. If you don't respond, we send your contact one email so they can check on you.
Who can see my profile?
Only signed-in members who match your discover filters see your anonymous profile card. Your name and social links are never visible unless you explicitly choose to reveal them to a specific matched user.

We built Kovyxa because we kept seeing the same broken pattern: smart, ambitious people wasting hours on apps that reduced them to a photo and a swipe. Conversations that never started. Connections that never went anywhere.

Kovyxa is a dating app for working professionals in India. Members create a text profile (work, values, lifestyle, interests) and are matched on compatibility. Profiles in Discover show no photos and no names; people choose when to reveal who they are.
Sign in with Google is used only to create and log in to your account (your name and email address). If you choose to connect YouTube Music, Kovyxa reads the list of your own playlists one time, read-only, so you can pick up to 3 to show on your dating profile. We save only the playlists you pick (title, cover image, song count and link). We never store your Google access token, never read your watch history, and never post or change anything on your YouTube account. You can remove playlists from your profile at any time.
Kovyxa's AI only writes text: bio ideas, conversation openers and compatibility notes. Kovyxa does not create, edit or share images of any person, and never uses Google user data to generate images or intimate content.
